Howard M. Cohn, B.S.M.E., J.D. Admitted to bar in New York and Ohio, and registered to practice before U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Former U.S. Patent Examiner. Passionately involved in all aspects of Intellectual Property Law including preparatory studies and analysis of the novelty of inventions and admitability of trademarks; examination, preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications; enforcement of patent rights concerning litigation, arbitration, and licensing; and broad client counseling pertaining to confidentiality agreements, licensing agreements, development agreements, joint ventures, due diligence strategies, technology transfer agreements, software protection, and employment agreements.

Daniel Cohn is a registered patent attorney whose expertise stems from his strong fundamentals in mechanical arts, medical devices, and biotechnology. Daniel is highly regarded for his ease and skill in working closely with inventors and start-ups to secure valuable patent protection and provide calculated patent counseling. He has been engaged with projects in an assortment of disciplines, including mechanical, biological, and software apps. His methodology includes listening effectively to the client’s requirements, providing client-tailored representation, and offering specific counsel to keep their project moving toward their individual goals. His past experiences with high-tech products, developing countless prototypes to full-scale production, injects a practicality that is invigorating and superbly valuable to all of our clients.

Patent Agent Karl P. Dresdner’s specialty is pharmaceutical, medical, biological, and chemical invention patenting. Karl worked 20 years with patent attorneys on the drafting and prosecution of patents, patent infringement cases, freedom to operate opinions, and patent opinions. Karl’s technical background includes a B.A. in Biology, supervising pharmaceuticals production, an M.S.in Physiology & Biophysics, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, medical research as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology at Columbia University, and 31 heart, kidney and brain research publications. USPTO registration no. 63,319.
